"Silver Springs" is a song by British-American blues-rock band Fleetwood Mac. It was written by Stevie Nicks in the early 1970s and was featured as a B-side to their song "Go Your Own Way". It was first released on the band's album The Dance in 1997.

History[]

Nicks originally intended for the song to be featured on the band's 1977 album Rumours. Nicks wrote the song about her and Lindsey Buckingham's relationship, which was coming to an end. The title of the song refers to Silver Springs, Maryland, where Nicks and Buckingham had visited previously.
